What Is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) refers to ongoing daily support provided to participants in shared or individual living arrangements. SIL is designed for individuals who need regular help with daily tasks but still want to live as independently as possible.

SIL services may include:

Support with personal care such as showering, grooming, and dressing
Meal planning and preparation
Medication prompts or supervision
